Mube is built with privacy in mind. Most of your data is stored locally on your device.
- Local Media & Files: We access local audio files and metadata on your device only to display and play them within the application. We do not upload your music files to any external servers.
- Cloud Storage Credentials: When you connect your personal SMB or WebDAV servers, your server URLs, usernames, and passwords are encrypted and stored locally on your device. We do not collect or store these credentials on our servers.
- Usage Data: We may collect non-personal and aggregated statistics (e.g., feature usage, crash logs) to monitor and improve the app performance.
- Purchase & Subscription Information: Subscription and purchase records are processed securely via Apple's App Store and our service provider RevenueCat. We do not have access to your credit card or financial details.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide and maintain core features of the Mube application (e.g., local storage access, playback, playlist creation, and network stream resolving).
- Enable cloud streaming functionality from your SMB or WebDAV storage.
- Process in-app purchases and subscriptions.
- Analyze and resolve crashes or technical issues to enhance application stability.
3. Third-Party Services
Mube integrates certain third-party SDKs and APIs to provide standard functionalities. These services may collect information in accordance with their own privacy policies:
- Apple App Store / In-App Purchases: Handles transaction processing and billing.

- YouTube API / youtube_explode_dart: Used to search and retrieve audio stream URLs for online tracks. No personal data is sent to YouTube other than standard search requests and direct stream playback requests.
- Google Mobile Ads (AdMob): If you use the free version of Mube, we may display ads. AdMob may collect device identifiers and personal information to personalize ads. Google Privacy Policy.
4. Data Retention and Security
Since your playlists, favorites, SMB/WebDAV credentials, and local library data are stored directly on your iOS/Android device, deleting the application will automatically delete all such stored data. We recommend backing up your configurations if you plan to reinstall.
Security Notice: We implement industry-standard security measures on your device to protect your stored credentials. However, please ensure your device is secured with a passcode or biometric authentication to prevent unauthorized local access.
5. Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under 13.
